Essential Duties and Responsibilities
***** Must have previous experience working in a previous Food Manufacturing Company*****
- Responsible for daily pre-operational inspections.
- Perform quality checks on the finished product including but not limited to checking labels for accuracy, and net weight, checking metal detectors, checking organoleptic properties, and checking for seal leaks.
- Responsible for weekly thermometers calibrations
- Responsible for weekly scale verification
- Gathering and sending samples to outside labs for testing
- Participate in the monthly GMP Audit, facility inspections, locker inspections
- Verifying cleanliness and releasing equipment/area for use after maintenance has been performed on any equipment.
- Interpret company policies for workers and enforces GMP regulations
- Responsible for doing validation checks for all metal detectors on an annual basis
- Responsible for taking samples of each product each day for sample retention
- Ensure Documentation is accurate, complete, and properly stored
- Work with Management to identify and solve problems
