Job Summary:
The IT Business Analyst has a unique opportunity to join Purdue University Global (PG) and make an immediate impact as PG begins the design, build and deployment of a new Academic Platform comprising a suite of academic applications built upon a new business intelligence platform. PG is seeking an IT Business Analyst that is able to contribute to ideation, development and management of critical outcomes from our new Academic Platform while collaborating on sustainable, effective business processes and technical workflow in support of our students, faculty and staff. The IT Business Analyst has the opportunity to contribute in a fast paced, project based environment that will yield industry leading technology including artificial intelligence, machine learning and data analytics allowing learners to achieve educational success personally and professionally.
What to Expect in this Role:
- Key member of design, development and implementation teams to deliver the Purdue Global Academic Platform.
- Responsible for analysis of business requirements and identification and evaluation of enabling technologies.
- Lead stakeholders through requirements gathering and process and technology assessment activities.
- Analyzing technical design of systems to deliver business outcomes.
- Connecting business processes and data flows to the technical underpinnings of software applications.
- Performing data analysis to support problem solving and continuous improvement of processes and systems.
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field.
- At least 6 years of experience performing business process and technology evaluation in IT management position or technology driven role within growth mode IT department.
- Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum requirements.
What we’re looking for:
- Demonstrated experience creating, analyzing and documenting business processes and technical requirements.
- Demonstrated experience in planning and feasibility determination including data analysis.
- Demonstrated experience in problem resolution within cost, schedule and performance objectives.
- Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate those into effective technical solutions, strategic and tactical directions.
- A strong desire and ability to establish standards and best practices to create sustainable systems.
- Ability to quickly understand new technology requirements and demonstrate skills learned.
- Ability to facilitate discussion between technical and business staff.

- FLSA: Exempt (Not Eligible For Overtime)
- Targeted Compensation Range is $85,000 to $110,000 annually
