Majestic Glove, a manufacturer of personal protective equipment (PPE) and a division of Bunzl, is seeking Purchasing Clerk for our facility in Everett. Majestic protects America’s workers by developing innovate, reliable quality products that meet the rigorous demands for a variety of industries. The Purchasing Clerical position will be responsible for expediting purchase orders and assist with inventory control.

Day Shift: Monday - Friday (overtime based on business need)

Responsibilities:

• Assist buyers with purchase order confirmations to suppliers and maintain accurate records of purchase orders.
• Customs entry preparation: Review inbound shipping documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and bills of lading and submit to customs broker for filing with US Customs prior to shipment arrival.
• Validate vendor invoices against purchase order materials ordered, quantities and pricing.
• Maintain updated shipment statuses and arrival dates available from freight forwarder and ocean carriers.
• Work closely with customer service and sales to communicate updated delivery status on inbound deliveries.
• Coordinate deliveries from port to our warehouse with drayage company and our receiving department including the return of empty containers.
• Record receipts of inventory into SAP system and communicate to our accounting department.
• Coordinate with our Shanghai logistics team on open purchase order items and expedite shipment as required.
• Maintain quality assurance records.
• Maintain compliance records.
• Interface with all internal branch departments
• Additional duties may include:
  Assist with product testing and compliance and maintain accurate records of samples tested.
  Assist in shipping samples to overseas factories.
  Expedite purchase orders as required.

Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Must possess one to two years previous office experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Outstanding problem-solving abilities
• Previous experience with SAP system preferred
• Strong PC skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Must be able to multi-task and detail-orientated

Majestic Glove salary range: $20 - $27 per hour based on experience, education and geographic location
