- Must safely and efficiently handle internal and external customer requests and issues.
- Must be able to take direction from supervisor and prioritize within a team and individually.
- Will place orders, work with art files, issue, and track PO#’s, walk in customer requests, inventory releases, and balance invoices from vendors and shippers.
- The ideal person in this position will have a high degree of Microsoft Office aptitude and be able to use the various programs within Microsoft Office.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Answer the telephone as part of the inside office team, in a polite and friendly manner.
- Respond promptly and professionally to emails.
- Process customer requests for orders.
- Calculate cost and sell information (within salesperson and management guidelines).
- Must interact with all consumable vendors following up on quotes, quantity discussions and application discussions.
- Must follow up on details such as wind specifications, roll / label specifications, packaging specs, speclet formation/reformation, and all computer data entry that accompanies an order.
- Ensure that all orders are delivered on time by working with vendors and shippers.
- Complete the order process by adding the vendor invoice amount, cost and sell of the product with any freight and handling fees and assist accounting with the invoicing process.
- Build strong and lasting relationships with all customers, vendors, and team members.
- Answer customer questions in a thorough, fast, and accurate manner.
- Always keep the salesperson and machinery manager well informed regarding their customers.
- Remain calm, friendly, and responsive under pressure.
- Convey a sense of confidence and welcome to new customers.
- Be complete in solving the customer’s problems.
- Minimize errors so customers are satisfied with job.
- Must be willing to work in warehouse, pick up freight, or drop off freight.

- Have training in computer / software applications such as MS Office.
