Responsibilities:
- Assist with the procurement process, including filing, issuing purchase orders, etc...
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure timely delivery of materials and supplies
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels
- Monitor and track orders to ensure on-time delivery, including calling about late P.O.'s
- Assist in identifying potential suppliers
- Ensure adequate inventory levels
- Coordinate with internal departments to address any purchasing-related issues
- Assist in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining positive relationships
Experience:
- Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement role is preferred
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online purchasing systems
- Proficiency in ERP system like Visual Manufacturing, SAP or Oracle EBS is highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
