Position Summary:
Under supervision of the Procurement Manager and Sr. Buyer, the Purchasing Administrator will be responsible for assisting with order entry and management. The position will also be responsible for managing supplier notice of changes, specifications and sourcing. The Purchasing Administrator will work with various cross-functional internal and external groups cost reduction, process improvement, effective communication to stakeholders, and quality and contract compliance.
Essential Job Functions:
- Work under the direction of Sr. Buyer to quote new products, create quote comparisons and costs analysis.
- Manage supplier changes through change control process.
- Maintain all supplier agreements and contracts.
- Oversee rebate tracking.
- Oversee supplier scorecard process.
- Release product specifications to suppliers and confirm receipt. Obtain detailed implementation dispositions for product specifications from suppliers.
- Process Purchase orders for goods and services, follow up as needed to ensure timely delivery. Review orders for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with existing policies and procedures.
- Support updating and maintaining of Procurement standard procedures, policies and forms.
- Manage and ensure compliance with all relevant Procurement Policies and Procedures.
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years of relevant experience required.
