About the Program
- 18 beds, including cardio ICU
- 1 NP support in the cardio ICU during the day (NP is employed by the cardio surgeon)
- Closed ICU
- IM Residents at the ICU during the day ( almost every day) and they are not at night
- 1 doc daily: ICU and consults on the floor – average 15 billable encounters a day. 20's in winter.
- 1 doc at night: average 2-4 admissions at night.
- Candidate is expected to rotate through the nights. The frequency is determined as it will depend on the new team-members
- Presented a new budget to the administration, starting July 2023

A successful Intensivist candidate for HNI Healthcare will possess the following:
- Passion for delivering high-quality, value-based versus volume-based care.
- Preference for real-time, data-driven clinical decision-making.

- Ability to provide a full-scope of hospital-based pulmonary/Critical Care.
- Board certified, or board eligible, MDs or DOs with advanced training in Critical Care, Pulmonary/CC, or Anesthesiology/CC.
- Current, unrestricted Ohio State license to practice.
- Current, unrestricted federal, and as needed, state, prescriptive authority.
