Public Relations/Influencer Intern

We are seeking a motivated college student with a passion for PR/Influencer Communications for a part-time internship, working November 2023 - May 2024. Ideal candidates will be in their junior or senior year, majoring in Communications/Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, English, Advertising or Psychology.

imre’s program will introduce students to the business of Earned Communications and integrated marketing. Interns will be assigned to the Earned team to support agency workings/operations from the PR and influencer perspective. 

TYPICAL DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Creating and maintaining media lists and editorial calendars
• Drafting media advisories, pitches, press releases, fact sheets, and award recommendations or submissions
• Monitoring for media and influencer coverage and preparing recap reports  
• Conducting market and media landscape research to inform client deliverables, social strategies and media outreach
• Executing research for PR and influencer partners
• Helping to write influencer briefs

Interns will gain experience in influencer marketing, media relations, market research and analysis. Interns will also learn how to use industry tools including Cision, Klear, HYPR, TVEyes, Muck Rack, Meltwater, Campaign Monitor and more.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Time commitment of 16 hours per week, ideally spanning over 3 or more days per week
• Must fall within our core business hours which are M-T 8:30 am - 5:30 pm
• College junior or senior
• Applicable knowledge from academic coursework
• Resume and cover letter
