Sante is seeking a Part-Time Public Relations Coordinatorwhois an enthusiastic team member of the Development team. They provide brand management support and assist with the implementation of marketing, Public Relations, advertising, and promotional strategy for the organization. The Public Relations Coordinator plays a vital role in creating and maintaining a positive public perception of all Santé Group Companies. They work closely with the communications and marketing team to develop strategic plans and execute initiatives that effectively promote the nonprofit's mission, programs, and impact.

Essential Functions:

Public Relations Strategy: The coordinator defines the companies’ Public Relations goals by developing and implementing strategies to maintain the company’s public image. Develops and promotes clear brand message-developing and implements a communications strategy designed to further companies’ objectives. Collaborates with the team to develop comprehensive communications strategies that align with the organization's goals. Identifies target audiences, crafts key messages, and determines the appropriate channels to ensure effective communication and engagement. Coordinates and implements campaigns aimed at increasing brand awareness.
• Media Relations: They establish and maintain relationships with members of the media, including journalists, reporters, and bloggers. They pitch stories, arrange interviews, and coordinate media coverage to generate positive publicity for the organization's initiatives and achievements. Cultivates strong relationships with media outlets and journalists to ensure efficient communication and maximum coverage. Maintains up-to-date press lists including journalists, influencers, and other members of the media. Responds to media inquiries, as well as coordinates press conferences and public events. Performs outreach to press outlets, magazines, influencers and builds strategic partnerships to grow brand notoriety.
• Content Creation and Distribution: The coordinator develops compelling content for various platforms, such as press releases, websites, social media posts, and newsletters. Writes a variety of different content to support communications and marketing efforts, including newsletters, websites, brochures, press releases, fact sheets, social media posts, and other marketing collateral. Maintains our promotional and content publication calendars across multiple channels.
• Social Media and Website Management: They oversee the organization's social media and website presence, developing and implementing strategies to increase engagement, followers, and reach. They create and curate content, monitor conversations, respond to inquiries, and analyze social media metrics to optimize performance. They update and maintain organizations’ websites.
• Marketing Initiatives: The coordinator collaborates with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that support the organization's goals. This includes creating promotional materials, coordinating advertising efforts, and organizing events to raise awareness and drive engagement.
• Crisis Communications: In the event of a crisis or negative publicity, the coordinator acts as a spokesperson, managing the organization's response and ensuring accurate and timely communication. They work with the team to develop crisis communication plans and monitor public sentiment to address concerns effectively.
• Stakeholder Engagement: The coordinator fosters positive relationships with stakeholders, such as donors, partners, volunteers, and community members. They develop strategies to engage and communicate with these groups, keeping them informed about the organization's activities and impact.
• Performance Evaluation: The coordinator tracks and analyzes the effectiveness of communications and marketing efforts. They use metrics, feedback, and data analysis to measure the impact of campaigns, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions. They report findings to management detailing the successes and failures of communication campaigns and strategies. They stay up to date on industry trends and make recommendations for adjustments to communication strategies and practices

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, Public Relations, business administration, or relevant field required, Master’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience in a communications or marketing role
• A portfolio of successful client work
• Excellent knowledge of Public Relations best practices, brand management, and media strategies, and related ethical practices.
• Superior time management and organizational skills as well as ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
• An analytical mind and ability to think critically.
• Must display expert attention to detail.
• Industry knowledge is preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to collaborate with personnel and members of the media.
• Superb written skills and knowledge of press release style guides.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Capable of creating visually compelling presentations.
• Knowledge of email marketing software such as Constant Contact or a similar program.
• Proficient public speaking abilities are an asset.
• Extensive experience with creating, sharing content, and managing professional social media presence.

Salary Range: $35,000 Annually
