Brilliant PR & Marketing, one of the most respected and rapidly growing agencies focused on family-oriented brands, seeks a Full-time Press Coordinator to help support the agency’s growing, award-winning team.

So what’s Brilliant all about? We are a unique PR agency with over 20 team members who all work remotely across the US. We give our team the resources they need to get their work done without having to sit in a cubicle or stuffy office. From costume contests to virtual happy hours and Slack GIFs, we prioritize connecting with each other and creating a sense of community. Although we are remote, team members are expected to be working and available during regular business hours, and there is occasional travel for events and trade shows.

Brilliant is in its second decade as a fully remote company and is one of the most respected agencies serving consumer lifestyle brands with a specific focus on products, brands, and services for families including baby and maternity, toys and games, tech, housewares, and food.

• 2 PR internships minimum in the consumer products industry
• Has an opinion and is confident in their presentation skills
• Doesn’t hesitate to manage up and down
• Enjoys crossing things off your to-do list
• Strong personal time management skills
• Resourceful, committed, and deliberate
• Loves scrolling through Amazon and shopping online. 
• Reads media, scrolls TikTok, enjoys being up to date on trends.
• Shares in brainstorms and isn’t afraid to come up with and try new ideas while encouraging others to speak up
• Wants to be a part of a small but strong and mighty team
• Has experience in Public Relations and influencer relations and appreciates all of the moving parts. 

Job Description:

• Work within the framework of a supportive 2-3 person team that will depend upon you in executing fundamental account tasks, including
  • Media and influencer list building
  • Entering and confirming sample requests
  • Calendar invites and call notes
  • Coverage monitoring
  • Inbound influencer and media inquiries
  • Pitching local, regional and national media 
  • Research projects
• Thoughtful about communications internally and externally
• Builds and maintains strong media relationships with national print, online, and broadcast outlets
• Builds strong relationships with key influencers across TikTok, Instagram and YouTube to secure earned coverage
• Enjoys an ever-evolving, fast-paced job, switching gears when needed and prioritizing our workload
• Familiarity with Cision, Canva, Coverage Book, Muck Rack, TV Eyes, Creator IQ, or comparable platforms

Salary Range: $38,000 to $43,000 annually
