The PR coordinator will oversee all aspects of filming for a new television series titled "Lenox".
- *Supervises and accompanies film producer at all times while on site.
- *Responsible for obtaining individual appearance releases for any individuals, including, without limitation, any patients, patient visitors or employees of Hospital, whose identity will be captured on film, by sound or image.
- *Responsible for confirming in writing prior to the commencement of filming the written authorization from all patients authorizing the disclosure of his/her protected health information and waiving any confidentiality protections afforded by law, including, without limitation, pursuant to The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, (a "HIPAA Authorization").
- *Ensure that every effort is taken to protect the privacy of patients. Ensures that in no circumstances any patient or patient visitor be approached, interviewed, photographed, filmed or otherwise engaged or recorded for the without first obtaining such patient's, or, in the case of a minor patient, a parent or legal guardian's, written authorization in the form of an Appearance Release and, if applicable, a HIPAA Authorization
- *Ensures the film producers film only in public areas and those areas within the hospital designated by Hospital as suitable for filming or photographing ("Permitted Areas") and that best efforts are made by producers not to disturb or otherwise invade the privacy of patients while passing through non-public areas.
- *Ensures the safety of hospital patients while producer is filming. Will authorize the producers to move, stop filming or evacuate the hospital if they feel the safety of our patients is being compromised.
- *Ensures the hospital is shed in a good light and filming policies are followed.
- *Performs other duties for this special project as necessary and assigned by the AVP of Regional Public Relations.

- Bachelor's Degree, required.
- Minimum of five (5) years experience in Journalism and/or Public Relations, required.
- Strong organizational, written, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent follow-through and follow-up skills with close attention to detail.
- Exceptional problem solving ability and ability to juggle multiple assignments and excel in a highly visible, high pressure environment.
