Public Relations Coordinator

Empower is looking for a Brand Ambassador! Someone to spread the word and be the engine that drives new relationships and new business for Empower Adventures Middleburg!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and create relationships with colleagues and departments within The Salamander Middleburg organization
• Create brand awareness in the local and greater Washington DC markets
• Identify new business opportunities and sales leads with area schools, colleges and universities, civic organizations, municipalities and member groups that would benefit from team building and leadership development
• Attend local networking events, share business cards, inform and promote Empower Adventures
• Host site visits for new and potential clients
• Capture, create and manage content for various marketing channels, including website, social media, email campaigns, and advertising materials
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in marketing communications

Experience:

• The ideal candidate possesses an uplifting, energetic spirit with a self starting, can do attitude
• Successful track-record of grassroots marketing efforts - planning and executing
• Experience networking and with business development
• Proven experience in developing and executing marketing communication and branding strategies
• Strong knowledge of social media marketing and content creation
• Proficient in marketing automation tools and platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,500.00 - $50,000.00 per year
