Job Summary
In the Pirate Krewe Entertainer role, an employee will work part-time at all Tampa Bay Buccaneers home games in addition to large-scale events and Training Camp when deemed necessary. The main responsibilities will focus on adding to the overall game day and event atmosphere by engaging and entertaining fans as a pirate performer.
Core Functions:
- Engage with fans to create a fun and energetic atmosphere throughout game day and events by distributing giveaway items.
- Interact with fans by maintaining in-pirate character throughout the game and events as needed.
- Assist with all needs as directed for pre-game setup, in-game entertainment throughout the stadium and on the Pirate Ship, and post-game elements.
- Assist other game day crews and departments to enhance the overall Buccaneers game day or event experience.
- Serve as an ambassador for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on game days and other events.
- Other duties as assigned to enhance the overall game-day entertainment and event experience as deemed necessary or as directed by the Events & Entertainment Manager/Coordinator.
- Able to work additional events such as Training Camp, and other high-level events as needed.
- Ability to adhere to, deliver, and execute timelines, rundowns, layouts, promotions, and entertainment elements on game days.
- Ability to work with and assist other crews as needed.
- Must be lively, outgoing, enthusiastic, positive, hardworking, and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent in entertaining, communicating, engaging, and interacting with crowds and individuals by being attentive, reactive, and lively while always staying in pirate character.
- Ability to work and interact well with the youth.
- Ability to work as part of a team and with large groups.
- Ability to throw/toss promotional items, before, during, and after the event.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with teammates/leads and Events & Entertainment Manager/Coordinator and be responsive to feedback.
- Previous acting or performance experience preferred, but not required knowledge of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, NFL, Football, Raymond James Stadium preferred.
The Company is a professional, fast-paced, creative business environment. Other environment conditions:
- Must be able to work flexible hours for Game Days and Events (including weekends, nights, and holidays)
- Must be able to work all Buccaneers home games.
- Physical demands include walking, standing for prolonged periods, and working long hours in a variety of weather conditions including humidity, rain, and intense heat, this position calls for a great deal of physical exertion.
- Ability to assist in set-up and breakdown which may require frequent lifting and/or carrying up to 50 pounds.
