We are seeking a motivated and experienced Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supervising doctoral-level students, coordinating psychological testing, and ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of six doctoral-level students, providing regular feedback, mentorship, and guidance.
- Coordinate, administer, score, and interpret a range of psychological tests and assessments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Provide individual and group therapy as required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Attend team meetings, training sessions, and participate in ongoing professional development.
- Ensure ethical and professional standards are met at all times.
- Providing 2nd opinions on clients for transfer to the state hospital.
- Provide 1-32 (Baker Act) second opinions and expert court testimony regarding involuntary hospitalization
Qualifications:
- Doctorate in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution.
- Licensed or license-eligible as a psychologist in Florida.
- Minimum of 3 years of post-graduate clinical experience, preferably within an Inpatient Psychiatric setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in psychological testing and assessment.
- Strong leadership skills and experience in student supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of current best practices in the field of psychology and psychiatric care.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and in a multidisciplinary team environment.
