Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Outpatient Telehealth - Per Diem (C) - 1 to 2 days a month (up to 4 to 6 hours each day)
PWG is seeking a Per Diem to Part part-time psychiatric Nurse practitioner licensed in Nevada to work remote Outpatient services through Telehealth. Must be able to prescribe and familiar with Mental Health.

PWG is seeking a Per Diem to Part part-time psychiatric Nurse practitioner licensed in Nevada to work remote Outpatient services through Telehealth. Must be able to prescribe and familiar with Mental Health.

Service areas incorporate urban and rural Nevada communities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide remote psychiatric services.
- Assess the patient’s mental status based on symptoms.
- Appropriately diagnose DSM-V disorders and develop treatment plans.
- Apply appropriate medical decision-making skills for Mental Health issues including psychopharmacology options and non-pharmacological treatments.
- Staff clinical cases with psychiatrists and/or clinical teams.
Requirements:
- Licensed in Nevada by the Board of Nursing in good standing as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with a focus on Mental Health.
- Licensed by the Nevada Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances.
- Possession of an X-Wavier for Suboxone treatment (Optional).
- Malpractice Insurance.
- Provide services to children 8+ years of age or older.
Skills:
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Experience with EMR/EHR Systems (Dx Scripts & TheraNest a +).
- Excellent written communication.
- Attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Flexible, organized, and functions under stressful situations.
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus but not necessary.
