Qualifications:
1. Masters Degree or PhD in a behavioral health discipline REQUIRED.
2. Must be actively working toward finishing clinical hours to become fully licensed in the State of Nevada or California
3. At least one year clinical experience in behavioral health setting REQUIRED.
4. DBT, EMDR or ACT training is preferred.
5. Interest in Eating Disorders and or Perinatal Mood Disorders preferred
6. Ability to work with all ages and genders, individual and family.
7. Strong computer skills (EMR)
8. Demonstrates competency and sensitivity in the areas of multicultural, racial, religious/spiritual and sexual orientation issues.
9. Proficient in spelling, grammar, multi-tasking.
Requirements:
- Must pass a federal background check at hire and every 3 years.
- Must adhere to the drug-free workplace act.
- Demonstrate maturity of judgment, attitude, and life skills.
- Must demonstrate an ability to adapt to change and remain flexible.
- Must be a strong team player that works well in a busy environment.
- Must have strong communication skills and be upbeat, positive, and professional when interacting with clients, providers and fellow co-workers.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, as well as the ability to effectively prioritize and manage your time unsupervised & independently.
Duties:
1. Assumes primary responsibility for client caseload of a minimum of 24 clinical hours per week for full time, part time employee’s caseload will be decided upon by the Clinical Director and employee.
2. Completes biopsychosocial and progress notes and all other required documentation within the timelines.
3. Acts as liaison between referral sources and clients.
4. Makes sure clients are seeing all appropriate providers and assists in connecting them to appropriate providers when more support is needed.
5. Provides crisis intervention/case management to clients as needed.
6. Attends all required meetings/supervisions weekly.
7. Completes weekly schedule as directed by Thrive.
8. Completes all individual and family sessions as required by Thrive and within the outlined timelines.
9. Provides coverage for other therapists when needed.

Flexible Schedule: We work 32 hours per week operating on a 4/8 schedule.
