We're searching for a bilingual psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who is capable of assisting with all aspects of nursing care. This includes providing support with patient assessments and evaluations, medication management and monitoring, as well as educating patients, doctors, and family members. Since this is a psychiatric nursing position, we're looking for a nurse who can work well on their own and with others in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be a certified psychiatric nurse and will have experience performing routine tasks as well as assessing patients' conditions.The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) will provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication management services at Reclamation Center. The PMHNP will work in coordination with Reclamation outpatient counseling services to provide psychiatric services to adult and youth clients with behavioral health issues. This position will be supervised externally by a psychiatrist with whom there is a Collaborative Practice Agreement established upon hire. The PMHNP will work out of one or more Reclamation partnered provider office sites in Miami-Dade County and Broward dade county, with the opportunity to grow telehealth services in the future to serve clients at remote locations. The PMHNP will work in collaboration with a Medical Assistant to coordinate client care, assist with insurance pre-authorization, and caseload management.
Responsibilities:
- Discuss and negotiate with doctors and other nurses.
- Autonomously diagnose and treat illnesses.
- Order and interpret tests.
- Prescribe medications.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
Expected hours: 1 – 18 per week
