Job Title: PSA Coordinator
GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Preventions of Sexual Abuse (PSA) Coordinator will oversee ongoing compliance with the Interim Final Rule on UC Sexual Abuse and Sexual Harassment standards at care provider facilities.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be knowledgeable of Interim Final Rule 411 Standards To Prevent, Detect, and Respond to Sexual Abuse and Sexual Harassment involving Unaccompanied Children.
- Be knowledgeable of ORR Standards on Preventing, Detecting, and Responding
- Provide support as needed following a PSA incident at the program.
- Complete formal monthly walk through of the program.
- Provide training on PSA topics to staff.
- Review SA SIR’s and provide technical assistance to the programs.
- Performs such other duties as may be requested by the Executive Director.
QUALIFICATIONS: The PSA Coordinator is required to have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social service fields and at least 1 year experience working with child welfare standards, best practices, and compliance issues.
The Program Director is required to be able to operate a personal computer with proficiency in the use of web-based platforms and Microsoft Word. The applicant must pass a national background check conducted by fingerprints, a state police background check, a CT DCF protective service background check, and a motor vehicle check.
