Job Description:

The Provider Relations Representative (PRR) is a critical position to the overall success of our company. New and established participating providers affiliated with USHS value great respect, service, communication, problem solving and assistance. The duties of a PRR includes consistent maintenance through telephonic, face-to-face, and written communication. It is vital to establish and retain positive and successful relationships with the participating provider network. The PRR will possess excellent relationship building skills. The position requires someone with an outgoing personality, attention to detail, and firm understanding of the health care delivery system. The PRR will maintain a collaborative, advising, and attentive attitude always. The PRR will represent USHS with professionalism in behavior and dress.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Provider Relationships and serve as a primary resource for information and problem solving between USHS and the provider network by maintaining a regular schedule of physician office visits.
• Dutifully ensure open lines of communication between USHS and the provider network to address concerns, answer questions, and apprise offices of quality care metrics.
• Respond to incoming phone calls and emails promptly.
• Investigate and resolve administrative issues and concerns between USHS, provider network and health plans.
• Travel to local provider offices and events. There will be significant travel in your personal vehicle. Mileage reimbursement will be provided based upon USHS policy.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Associates degree or relevant equivalent experience.
• Prior experience with provider networks and contracting with physicians.
• Preferred knowledge of CPT, ICD, HCPCS, HCC coding; training may be available for the right candidate.
• Knowledge of HMO, PPO, Medicare Risk and Indemnity products preferred; Accuracy and detail orientation (written and verbal).
• Must be able to interact with healthcare professionals.
• Proficient in office equipment (computers, printers, etc) and MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access).
• Current unrestricted Arizona Driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of insurance required.
