As a Proposal Writer on the RFI/RFP team in Los Angeles, you will work both independently and as part of a team to complete written requests for information, due diligence, and new business proposals. Writers collaborate with peers, sales teams, investment specialists, and other business partners to gather information and provide written responses covering Capital Group and Capital Group strategies/funds to a broad institutional audience. You will also serve as a general resource to the business for RFI/RFP-related information and may participate in content development initiatives, process improvements, and project-related work.

- You have experience in the investment management or financial services industry with a working knowledge of investments and general portfolio statistics.
- You have experience in researching and gathering information needed to fulfill qualitative and quantitative deliverables, such as (but not limited to) requests for information (RFIs), requests for proposals (RFPs), or due diligence questionnaires (DDQs).
- You have experience navigating various sources to gather and present data to external audiences in a concise, accurate, and compliant manner.
- You exercise good judgment and have a process for managing competing priorities and deadlines. You are comfortable when priorities shift, and you manage change with steadfast composure.
- You demonstrate strong nimble learning abilities and high attention to detail, work well with differing degrees of ambiguity, and are a driven, proactive problem solver.
- You take the time to create and maintain meaningful relationships. You're a generous collaborator. You've fine-tuned your communication style to influence a variety of personalities.
- You have a bachelor's degree.
New York Base Salary Range: $119,807-$191,691
Orange County Base Salary Range: $104,573-$167,317
Los Angeles Base Salary Range: $112,995-$180,792
* In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
