PMCS Group has an immediate opening for a Proposal Writer to support our firm in the pursuit of new projects and contracts. This position would report directly to the Business Development, Marketing and Proposal Manager and would support the research and development, organization, writing and final formatting of proposals. This position would also support the Recruitment and Marketing team as needed / as relevant for proposal pursuits.
Role and Responsibilities:
· Under the direction of the Business Development, Marketing and Proposal Manager, research and track upcoming procurement opportunities
· Support the development of proposal teams
· Review newly-issued RFPs to confirm eligibility to submit / work with the Business Development, Marketing and Proposal Manager to make a final determination on proposals to pursue
· Support the initial draft phase of proposals
· Attend pre-proposal meetings
· Support the Business Development, Marketing and Proposal Manager in requesting and obtaining materials from subconsultant firms
· Support the final preparation and delivery of proposals
· Support the recruitment and marketing team as needed in additional recruitment and marketing efforts, especially as it pertains to current and upcoming proposals
· As needed, support the interview process for proposals (presentation / slideshow creation, interview prep meetings, etc.)
· Support PMCS marketing efforts as needed (social media efforts, creation of marketing materials, provide support during the planning of company events, etc.)
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree
· 1-2 years of proposal writing experience for CM/A/E company
· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe Acrobat & Google Applications
· Extremely organized; Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills
· Excellent communication skills, both verbally and writing
· Professional demeanor
· Ability to handle confidential material
· Works well in a team environment, and can also work independently, when fully trained
· Reliable, good work ethic
