About the Job:
The Property Inspector is responsible for performing annual inspections for GRE’s portfolio of buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule with property managers and tenants to complete unit inspections
- Keep digital records of all inspections
- Report the results along with recommendations to portfolio managers and owners
- Submit reports to executive team
- Makes recommendations to Director of Property Management with respect to building enhancements that may be necessary or will improve the rentability of the property
- Meets from time to time with the team to collaborate on what is happening overall within the properties, company and to discuss any necessary or suggested improvements to the program or company
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with repairs and maintenance and smoke alarm and carbon monoxide requirements
- Technical skillset to cut and install cables with wrenches attached
- Ability to install signage on façade
- Superior customer service skills
- Driver's license and current insurance
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook
- Ability to take initiative, comfortable with problem-solving
- Must be able to professionally communicate with portfolio managers, tenants, and property owners
