We are actively accepting applications for aProject Manager, Web Accessibility positionto join the SIDEARM team. In this role, you'll focus on providing best-in-class support to our partners in navigating Web Accessibility challenges to provide the best possible experience for all visitors, including those with disabilities, impairments, and limitations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all communication efforts in assisting key partners as they navigate accessibility remediation efforts.
- Lead process execution to ensure that accessibility issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
- Translate accessibility test results into actionable user stories, and well documented bugs. Consult with front-end developers to remediate accessibility concerns and ensure their successful completion.
- Provide partners with subject matter expertise and consultation in Web Accessibility as related to SIDEARM's digital products. Products include SIDEARM's proprietary content management system, live stats, apps, etc.
- Collaborates with designers and developers to provide Web Accessibility guidance in the UI and UX design and development stages.
- Conduct accessibility testing when needed using both manual and automated methods.
- Lead and organize proactive efforts to ensure accessibility is at the forefront of team development processes internally.
- Maintain an understanding of Section 508, ADA, and WCAG guidelines and serve as an internal and external subject matter expert on both state and federal legislation.

Minimum Requirements:
- 2+ years experience
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Project Management, Education, or similar
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Client management experience
- Solid project management and execution background. Experience with SCRUM or Agile a plus
- Experience performing manual and automated accessibility testing for both desktop and mobile
- Experience using various accessibility tools such as Siteimprove, WAVE, JAWS, etc.
- Understanding of WCAG guidelines, as well as state and federal legislation in the space
- A team player with a collaborative mindset

We'll be extra impressed if you have:
- Experience with ARIA markup, CSS, JavaScript, and performing basic site remediation tasks
- Experience working with Agile product teams
- Experience with Atlassian tools including Jira and Confluence
- Knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Certified Professional of Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC)
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Pay Transparency
The approximate base pay range for this position is $60,000 to $65,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Individuals may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and/or sales compensation. Actual compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience as well as geographic location.
