Job Description

Allied Universal® is hiring a Project Manager The Project Manager will work intimately with Executive Leaderhip. The Project Director will evaluate service agreements to determine if there are potentials for expansion of existing services, ensure maximum effectiveness of the services being provided, and will be involved in plan design and existing plan enhancements. The Project Manager provides general management to regional leadership, supports their activities, is involved in employee training, documentation, discipline, and termination, and provides positive reinforcement to their employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor Purchase Orders and payments and will work with customer and Internal stakeholders to ensure prompt payment for services rendered
  • Provide clients with timely, appropriate communication to make sure that their needs are being met; regularly meet with clients to review services provided and actively seek ways of increasing service; offer assistance to clients to meet their changing needs and schedules; troubleshoot to identify and divert any potential problems; assure renewal of contract
  • Develop and implement new service programs
  • Coordinate with security supervisors to assist them in their management of daily operations; offer suggestions for employee recognition, disciplinary action, or termination
  • Assess the need for additional training of employees and communicate the market to the appropriate Market Training Manager; provide specific training for supervisors requesting training updates for employees under their supervision
  • Assist in operations budget tracking
  • Create and maintain purchase requisitions
  • Prepare monthly finance reports, accruals, and re-classes
  • Resolve accounting issues with vendors and internal departments
  • Selection of supervisory candidates and selection of personnel to assume increased responsibility
  • Interpret contract provisions to define performance requirements
  • Provide direction and instruction to subordinates regarding the performance of their duties
  • Design and implement changes to physical security surveys and post-orders
  • Implementing methods of reducing overtime
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities for the clients
  • Provide insight to cross-training officers to make them more versatile
  • Interface with client management to discuss security/fire services provided, identify problem areas, provides expert recommendations for security solutions, and take corrective action
  • Conduct required/dedicated site assessments to ensure compliance and provides recommendation on operations, policy, and technology applications to management
  • Develop/maintain/coordinate effective communications with outside emergency agencies
  • Inspect and evaluate risks and ensure adequate coverage for client sites (this includes compliance with post orders and associated regulations)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field
    • Administration, Criminal Justice, or a related field with a minimum of five (5) years of general management experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of seven (7) years of general management experience
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience developing and implementing training and development materials and programs
  • Minimum of two (2) years security experience
  • Able to successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments and effectively manage deadlines
  • Proven track record of excellence in customer service and financial management
  • Superior, world-class interpersonal and communication skills as well as solid writing skills
  • Dedication to high-quality customer service delivery and integrity through proven client and customer relationships
  • Proficient in web-based applications, computer systems and programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), to effectively edit and create reports, database entries, and presentation materials
  • Highly effective leader with the ability to build strong relationships internally with all levels of the organization and manage under difficult service delivery timeframes
  • Participate in industry specific professional organizations such as ASIS
  • Work with all levels in the organization to identify, analyze and solve problems and create opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Maintain confidentiality of all information and data
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented management environment while focused on results
  • Professional, articulate, and able to use good independent judgment and discretion
  • Must have proven ability to maintain correspondence, discussions, and materials in strictest confidence
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills required
  • Ability to successfully interact at all levels of the organization, including with clients, while functioning as a team player

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Five (5) or more years of contract or proprietary security services, law enforcement, and/or military experience
