Project Manager - Utility Solar

DEPCOM Power, a leading renewable energy EPC, is looking to add a Project Manager to their team. A successful Project Manager possess strong leadership skills in managing teams and driving tasks and projects to completion. The candidate selected for this role will have experience managing EPC projects and will direct and coordinate utility scale solar projects. This is a remote role that requires travel 50% to project sites.

Our Team

DEPCOM's Project Delivery Organization executes full turnkey PV and BESS plants with collection substations and generation transmission lines. We utilize preferred partnerships with key vendors and subcontractors while coordinating with interconnection utilities across the nation. As a Koch Company, we implement Principle Based Management to continue driving innovation, hold our team to the highest standard and streamline our overall processes to ensure project success for each of our clients. What You Will Do

• Manage and oversee a team which includes a Project Engineer, Construction Management, and their direct reports, while applying our Principle Based Management Philosophy to support team on utility scale solar and battery storage power plants.
• Manage project fore casts with the support of the Project Controls team to drive an accurate forecast complete with identification of risks and opportunities.
• Work closely with Supply Chain to maximize value during the buyout phase of a project.
• Work closely with Business Development and Estimator to deliver accurate and competitive Project Estimates.
• Manage a project schedule with support of the Scheduling team to meet or improve project objectives.
• Provide timely project reporting to internal teams and external customers.
• Ensure project is in compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements with support of internal resources.
• Build rapport with customers and find strategic opportunities to drive long-term mutually beneficial relationships.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Supervisory Experience
• Experience managing large EPC projects
• Experience with cost estimating, scheduling, and customer interfacing
• Understanding of prime contract and subcontract language

What Will Put You Ahead

• EPC experience in Solar, Wind, BESS, conventional power or industrial project
