ob Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with extensive experience in managing Transportation Management System (TMS) projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading TMS implementations, with a deep understanding of logistics and supply chain operations. Responsibilities:Lead and manage end-to-end TMS implementation projects, from planning and initiation to execution and closure.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against key milestones and deliverables.
Coordinate cross-functional project teams, including IT, logistics, operations, and external vendors, to ensure successful project execution.
Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to project timelines and deliverables.
Communicate project status, progress, and key milestones to stakeholders, including senior management, on a regular basis.
Facilitate requirements gathering and solution design sessions, working closely with business analysts and IT teams to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Ensure adherence to project management best practices, methodologies, and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing project environment.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes, tools, and methodologies.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or related field; PMP certification preferred.
