We are seeking a professional like you to join BASF's Supply Chain In-House Consulting team as Project Manager to lead complex Supply Chain projects. Our unit advises internal business partners with concepts, methods, and solutions along the entire value chain to sustainably improve their Supply Chain performance. You will personally lead Supply Chain consultant projects and initiate deep dives into processes and internal structures, leading project scope development through final analysis, recommendation, and implementation.

As a Project Manager, you create chemistry by...
- Combining your project management experience and your "make it happen" attitude with your excellent communication skills to identify the needs of the business units and align the project scope of work and budget with the client.
- Following a structured project management methodology (e.g., pyramidal presentations, storytelling, hypothesis-based thinking, and compelling slides), to develop client-specific solutions to support the achievement of business targets.
- Developing and maintaining plans for the entire project / workstream, including activities for others, demonstrating actionable, time-dependent, end-to-end, and deliverable-oriented planning.
- Following a confident, concise, and on-point communication approach, tailoring your style to the situation, comfortably facilitating larger client workshops, meetings and presentations while demonstrating your ability to read the audience and steer communication in difficult situations.
- Using your sound organizational awareness, change management skills and decision-making processes to resolve project issues and roadblocks according to stakeholder structure.
- Further building upon your network, situational awareness and experience, to support the acquisition process of new Supply Chain projects, addressing the internal customers' needs and their business targets.
If you have...
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Supply Chain, Logistics and/or Operations or related fields.
- 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Operations, with demonstrated expertise in areas such as SAP, APO, OMP, S&OP and/or Inventory Mgmt. CPIM or CSCP accreditation is appreciated.
- Experience in Demand and Supply Planning roles and/or responsibilities
- Experience in Project Management or leading projects is required, and accreditation is appreciated.
- Knowledge and/or experience in the digitalization of Supply Chain processes
- Strong business acumen will be used to develop value propositions for your project work as well as to be further develop processes, methods, and solutions to our client's Supply Chain challenges.
