A reputable Port St. Lucie roofing company is seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of roofing projects, from the initial estimate to project completion. We are in a growth phase and this position is the most important in the company, with yearly advancement opportunities.
Compensation:
Responsibilities
• Meet with insurance adjusters to negotiate pricing and scope of work
• Upsell current customers on additional services and products
• Order and price out the material needed for each project
• Schedule jobs and coordinate with customers, vendors, and subcontractors
• Perform pre, during, and after job site inspections
• Manage and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, including schedules, budgets, and staffing
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with subcontractors and vendors
• Proactively generate new business and work closely with sales and marketing teams to identify and pursue opportunities to grow the company's client base, while also ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business
• Manage project budgets and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
• Ensure that all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards
• Continuously monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and develop solutions to mitigate them
• Review and approve subcontractor and vendor invoices for accuracy
• Conduct regular team meetings to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned on project progress and goals
• Conduct ongoing training and development of team members to improve project management and estimation skills
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop project proposals and identify new business opportunities
Qualifications
• Military experience (mission-driven) not required but is a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish (Preferred)
• 5+ years of construction management experience
• Roofing experience needed (management or performing repairs)
• Solar, window, and door background is a plus
• Not employed by more than 2 companies over the past 10 years
• Preferred strength in closing deals and providing exceptional customer service
• Experience with project management software (e.g. Procore, PlanGrid, Buildertrend)
• Experience in commercial roofing projects
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with financial management and budgeting for construction projects
• Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
• Ability to travel to project sites as necessary

- Base salary: $50,000
- First-year projected earnings: $65,000 - $75,000 with the Bonus Opportunities
- 2 weeks of Paid Time Off
- Health insurance available after 90 days
