To learn more visit us at www.mgsmfg.com. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating project deliverables and correspondence with customers and internal stake holders. The Project Manager's essential duties and responsibilities are: Establish and maintain project timelines.
Schedules project kick off reviews and coordinates resources with the Engineering Manager. Start-up and maintains jobs in IQMS. Provide excellent and timely customer service, resolve all Project issues, and use as a basis to secure current and future Projects for the company.
Defines customer requirements and communicates these to internal stake holders. Align with integrated services group on integrated MGS projects. Lead project team/s and facilitate the communication and interaction amongst functional representatives.
Provides project status reports with schedule and photo progress updates. Maintains meeting notes for internal weekly project reviews. Prepares final machine documentation package.
Ensures product is developed to meet or exceed the company's quality standard. Draft, review, and redline project documentation including URS, FDS, FMEA, Safety risk analysis, FAT, SAT, and IQ/OQ/PQ Validations. Provides recommendation for new processes and leads in the effort to improve existing processes, where needed, to improve quality or on-time delivery.
Provides/proposes efficiencies and product improvement strategies to management. Properly files all documentation along with customer correspondence per company documentation system. Outline and track Project progress against schedule, budget to review objectives, and communicate these to management on a regular basis.
Update/maintain revenue recognition report for accounting department. Reports on process and progression of Project and communicates schedule to the customer. Develops and implements recovery plans for off-schedule projects resulting from unanticipated events.
Schedules and hosts project post mortems to review budget, schedule, project highlights, and improvement areas. Assist in ancillary production functions such as purchasing, costing, assembly, and shipping. Assist in other production duties, or organizational activities (Ex.
inventory adjustments, re-arrangement of work areas, etc.) Any other duties as assigned.
