Project Manager – Merger & Acquisition

ONE Technology Services is seeking a talented and experienced Project Manager to join our Merger & Acquisition (M&A) team and play a pivotal role in the integration of acquired companies. Reporting to the M&A Program Management Office, the Project Manager will be responsible for managing specific IT workstreams to ensure the successful integration of technology systems and processes. This role requires strong project management skills, coupled with a solid understanding of M&A processes and IT infrastructure.

What you need / Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Project Management, with at least 1 year focused on M&A or IT integration projects.
• Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in IT-related areas such as collaboration, network, BCDR/security, applications/technology, infrastructure, or endpoint devices.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail and a focus on delivering results.
• A proactive and collaborative mindset, with a commitment to driving continuous improvement and delivering value to the organization.

What you'll do:

• Manage specific IT workstreams related to the integration of acquired companies, including but not limited to collaboration, network, BCDR/security, applications/technology, infrastructure, and endpoint devices.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with overall program goals.
• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, and track progress against milestones and key performance indicators.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues impacting project delivery, and escalate as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate with internal and external resources to ensure smooth execution of project activities, including vendor management and contract negotiations.
• Provide regular updates and reports to the M&A Program Management Office and key stakeholders on project status, risks, and key decisions.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of technology systems and processes, adhering to industry best practices and compliance standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project processes and enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, standards, and best practices, and contribute to the development and enhancement of project management frameworks.
