Form of workThe Gilbane Team in Central Florida is seeking a Project Manager to join our team on the Space Coast on a very exciting large-scale healthcare construction project!
As our work continues to grow in Brevard County, an opportunity is available to join this project immediately. A Quality/MEP/Virtual Design focused background is needed for this particular role!
The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting the Senior Project Manager in the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of a construction-management project; as well as mentoring multiple Project Engineers and Superintendents. This position will be on the job site every day and will fill a key role on the project team.

Responsibilities- Compile charts and graphs for project reporting
- Assist in preparation of project-specific safety plan
- Proactively carry out the project safety plan and quality plan
- Maintain satisfactory relationships with owners, unions, subcontractors, etc.
- Prepare monthly reports
- Run OAC meetings
- Negotiate with subcontractors
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION
- BS OR MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 3-5 years of Project Management experience on $5-15 million construction projects (preferable focus on Quality/MEP/Virtual Design experience)
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Strong technical and communication skills are critical
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Knowledge of Procore, Microsoft Office (preferred)
