PROJECT MANAGER

Role Summary

Join the Office Furniture Source (OFS) team as their next Project Manager! In this high-impact role, you will lead corporate furniture installation projects for OFS’s valued clients, helping to create environments where people do their best work. You will lead the entire process, including designs, budgets, quoting, and coordinating with internal and external partners for flawless execution of client projects!

Core Accountabilities

• Provide professional client relationships and interface as a leading point of contact for clients throughout each project.
• Attend client planning and construction meetings to interpret project requirements, convey furniture capabilities and collaborate on project plans and to ensure accurate and complete exchange of information.
• Develop a working plan, schedule and logistics required based on the overall project parameters and scope.
• Provide technical consultation to the customer and/or design firm or other third parties regarding electrical and low voltage (data, phone) cabling and weight loads to ensure successfully executed furniture installation.
• Coordinates projects by working closely with design team, sales team, warehouse/delivery/installation team, purchasing department to gather pertinent details, firm up ship dates and installation dates.
• Checks installation/design plans against order to ensure product application will work; all product required for installation has been specified (e.g. correct handedness, item counts, etc.) noting electrical and furniture cabling requirements to ensure compliance with project plan and to adjust order quantities proactively.
• Conducts field pre-punch and punch-list reviews with customers and executes and manages punch-list process.
• Participates in work-in-process and open order backlog review meeting with management team to check progress and resolve any issues.
• Coordinates with Scheduling and logistics manager and other operations resources to schedule delivery & installation resources. Obtains all third-party quotations for applicable projects for Riehle Services or other approved third-party installers.
• Manages and coordinates on-site supervision of installation, working closely with installation team, contractors and other trades to ensure project progresses according to plan.
• Compile reports on project status to share with management upon request.

• Experience in the corporate furniture industry, workplace experience, or Interior Designs highly desirable
