KAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Project Manager II, to join our team. This position will work out of Scott AFB in Illinois.

This candidate will provide the technical and subject matter expertise to advise and assist the Government in the preparation, development and completion of program management documents, event and activities required to plan, sustain, and contract for information technology systems or services.
Primary Duties:
- Participate in IPT meetings, perform research, and provide advice and aid in the preparation of Government documentation.
- Provide advisory and assistance subject matter expertise services to support the programs in Technical Interchange Meetings
- Assist and prepare lifecycle management documents and identify plans and strategies and requirements development and analysis.
- Review data deliverable for technical completeness and compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements (including security requirements, risk and contingency/recover planning), and advises the Government on technical aspects
- Create and implement schedule management services in the form of an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
- Experience interfacing with the customer concerning technical and operational issues, preparing Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms), status reports and contractual clarifications
- May provide guidance and technical direction to less experienced Project Managers

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in program management, business administration, business management or another related field.
- In lieu of degree, experience may be substituted for years of relevant experience
- At least three (3) years of experience in program management
- Experience in managing project cost, schedule, performance, and risk.
- Experience applying the principles, criteria and procedures of Department of Defence (DoD) Directives 5000.01 and 5000.02, Air Forces, USTRANSCOM, and AMC instructions, and other regulations, directive-type memorandums and guidance documents, as applicable.
- For some programs, expertise working with Agile and Scrum software development techniques
Clearance:
This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.
