Job Description
Contemporaries is a government contracting firm working closely with the National institutes of Health. We are currently looking for a Project Manager I, to work on a long-term contract with our client, performing administrative support, and procurement duties. Fitting candidates should have previous experience providing office/administrative support, preferably in a government environment or health environment. Selected candidates will also have previous experience working with outside vendors, managing data on procurements, and records keeping. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 - 3 days working onsite/in-office in Bethesda, MD, and 2 - 3 days working from home. This is a standard schedule (M-F 40 hrs./week) position, and selected candidates will be paid hourly, at a rate of $23 - $25/HR, based on experience. Selected candidates will also receive a choice in benefits.
Duties:
- Entering, organizing, analyzing, and managing data on procurement, vendors, and government customers.
- Performing quality assurance on data related to procurements and making recommendations for improving record keeping, data tracking, and data utilization.
- Performing contract management duties as required.
- Writing, editing, and formatting procurement documents, correspondences, and memos.
- Providing special task support and completing special projects for OA.
- Assisting with planning and scheduling.
- Work with stakeholders to prevent problems and respond promptly to problems when they arise.
- Prepare necessary meeting documents.
- Prepares documents, and enters information into government systems in the areas related to acquisitions.
- Serve as a representative for answering questions, and inquiries regarding policy, and procedures.
- Supports, monitors, and proactively resolves administrative/acquisition requests and requirements.
- Supports and serves as the point of contact for assigned program areas, ensures that all administrative related actions are carried through to completion.
- Serves as the point of contact for smaller program areas to ensure that acquisition/administrative related actions are carried through to completion.
- Uses a collaborative process to assess, recommend, plan for and provide acquisition/administrative support and services from the initial request until the action is completed.
- Fulfills programs day-to-day operations requests while ensuring that all actions are consistent with Federal and NIH policies and procedures.
- Provides periodic feedback to stakeholders to ensure an awareness of where actions are in the process.

- Mid-level Administrative/office support experience.
- Experience coordinating/managing staff meetings.
