Job Summary and QualificationsAs Project Manager - Human Resources you will improve project performance; use/develop detailed project plans, as well as other standard project management tools/techniques. You will coordinate project activities across HR strategic planning. You will identify, analyze, and resolve project support deficiencies; recommend corrective actions as necessary. You will communicate project status & return on investment to management. You will align and integrate processes and tools with process excellence teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analyze, research and design functional specifications from internal and external industry sources for HR best practices to meet business requirements
- Define requirements, manage priorities, and ensure effective functioning of projects
- Manage portfolio and prioritization of projects according to HR strategy, customer and compliance requirements
- Maintain on-going communication with customers and development staff regarding outstanding projects and responses to customer requests
- Work with HR Business Partners and COE’s to drive strategic initiatives
- Perform testing and documentation of new system features
- Perform workflow analysis to determine best process solutions for HR processes, identifying non-value added steps and proposing new process improvements
- Develop detailed project plans, route deliverables; obtain management sign-offs, supply status reports, and supervise implementation.
- Develop and run analyses, which include timeline slippage, critical path and other ad hoc requests
- Maintain on-going communication with regions and management regarding status of outstanding projects and responses to customer requests
- Develop and participate in customer/user classroom training
- Maintains project logs and time sheets for internal accounting. Supervises the collection and verifies the accuracy of such data for projects and sub-projects under own direction
- Develop and maintain detailed project implementation plans; act as a resource for project members
- Coordinate and/or direct the activities of project team members
- Provide timely and accurate updates to all project related documents and facilitate project meetings
- May have some budget responsibility
- Bachelors Degree is required
- 3+ years of experience in relevant/related works is required
- 1+ year(s) of experience in HR or related field is preferred
- CAPM or PMP certification is preferred
- Proficient use of MS Office Suite is preferred
