Job Description
This position is characterized by its fast-paced, deadline-driven nature, with daily, weekly, and monthly deliverables. Serving a client base from General Contractors, waterproofing/roofing contractors, and commercial facility owners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Document Management: Load project documents into various systems for efficient organization and access.
- Thorough Document Review: Conduct meticulous reviews of construction project documents, including specifications, drawings, and details.
- Attend Key Meetings: Participate in Scope Reviews, Pre-Construction Meetings, and Site Visits to ensure clear project understanding.
- Project Planning: Develop weekly project schedules, budgets, submittals, shop drawings, and purchase orders to facilitate project progress.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with general contractors and other customers to provide updates and address inquiries.
- Collaborative Transition: Collaborate with our estimator, sales team, and other staff members to ensure a smooth transition of projects from the Estimating phase to Project Management upon sale closure.
- Financial Management: Complete monthly pay applications and invoicing in a timely and accurate manner.
- Team Leadership: Lead weekly staff meetings to keep the team informed and aligned on project objectives.
- Change Management: Effectively manage Change Orders, RFI's, RFP's, and subcontractors to ensure project success.
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or Engineering is desired.
- Construction Experience: Demonstrated experience in commercial construction project management is essential.
- Deadline-Oriented: Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a track record of meeting daily project deadlines.
- Organized: Highly organized and capable of effectively overseeing projects from initiation to completion.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, including effective presentation abilities.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Project and ProCore PM Software is preferred.

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $10,000.00 per year
