Project Manager - DevSecOps Center of Excellence Washington DC (Navy Yard) - Hybrid
120k-130k+/year - dependent on experience and LCAT

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team as we support and assist a DevSecOps Center of Excellence. This role will provide support to the lead engineer team so experience in technical project management and/or engineering would be preferred. This role utilizes agile project management practices and reports to senior leadership on the status of engineering projects in support of engineering efforts throughout the Program Executive Office (PEO). This role will support technical project management to the lead engineers within the PEO. Candidates must possess at minimum active DoD Secret Clearance.
Responsibilities: Project Planning and Execution:
- Help to develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Execute projects in adherence to established timelines and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, security, and operations, to understand project requirements and dependencies.
- Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Manage expectations and provide regular updates to key stakeholders on project status.
Risk Management and Issue Resolution:
- Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery and proactively implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Address and resolve project-related issues promptly, collaborating with relevant teams to find effective solutions.
Resource Allocation and Management:
- Assist with coordinating resources effectively, ensuring that team members have the necessary tools and support to meet project objectives.
- Optimize resource allocation to enhance project efficiency and productivity.
Process Improvement:
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of DevSecOps processes and methodologies.
- Identify opportunities to enhance workflows, streamline procedures, and increase overall efficiency.
Quality Assurance:
- Work closely with the DevSecOps team to ensure that all deliverables meet established quality standards.
- Implement quality assurance measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
- Five (5) year of demonstrated experience in DoD Program Management and Acquisition
- Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and practices.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Certifications such as PMP or Agile certifications would be advantageous.

Pay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
