What's the role?

The Corporate CommunicationsProject Manager will drive awareness for the Hilti brand by partnering with functional corporate teams to develop integrated communications campaigns in support of our strategic goals. They are responsible for the creation and distribution of high-quality, deadline-driven communication content and material for North America in compliance with our Corporate Identity & Corporate Design (CICD) policy. This position is responsible for managing content and development process from subject matter experts such as Director of Compensation, Director of People Engagement, Director of HR Shared Services, and other internal partners. This role is responsible for synthesizing and localizing content relevant to respective audiences and the Hilti North America market.

What does the role involve?

  • Build awareness and engagement through the planning and execution of integrated communication efforts that reflect the overall corporate strategy
  • Support the communications needs of the organization by developing and executing integrated campaigns that support Hilti North America goals and strategies
  • o Synthesize source information to develop succinct and targeted messages
  • o Oversee the development of multi-channel, multi-digital content
  • Serve as a first-line communications partner to identified stakeholders. Collaborate with assigned departmental subject matter experts to develop content as needed
  • Partner with stakeholders to develop, evaluate, and implement communication programs – localizing content for relevancy in the North America market. Partner with other communications professionals to ensure quality and consistency of content across channels
  • Continuously seek efficiencies to improve procedures, practices, and systems to increase productivity and impact of communications and teamwork within the department
  • Work with stakeholders to synthesize large amounts of information and develop relevant content that effectively communicates a succinct message to the intended audience in a compelling way
  • Develop and manage detailed project budgets and manage project timelines, workflow, and responsibilities with a network of internal team members and external vendors
  • Promote understanding and adherence to brand excellence guidelines throughout all levels of the organization to maximize the long-term potential of the Hilti brand and adhere to globally-established guidelines (act as a “brand guardian”)
  • Work with Market Organization stakeholders (for example Marketing and Human Resources directors and process managers) to ensure consistency of messaging and brand excellence throughout the Hub. Support major internal and external events as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

What you need is:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Design, or other Marketing related field, required
  • Master’s degree, preferred
  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-project environment while maintaining attention to detail and deliver under pressure
  • Ability to provide creative direction to third party vendors
  • Ability to make decisions under pressure
  • Excellent grammar, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to develop and manage project budgets and timelines
  • Team player who can take initiative and be diplomatic
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel PowerPoint, Word) required, Adobe Creative Suite knowledge preferred
  • Must be able to walk on construction and trade show sites that have uneven surfaces, climbing scaffolding, ladders, and stairs.
  • May have exposure to excessively loud noises. high occurrence of sitting, standing, and bending.
  • Must be able to lift and carry as much as 50lbs
