Job Description:
The Project Manager will play a crucial role in planning, organizing, executing, and leading systems projects from concept through closure. Responsibilities include managing all aspects of system implementation, adhering to Project Management Office standards, and ensuring stakeholder needs and expectations are met. Key duties involve risk management, project budget oversight, communication management, and collaboration with various supporting organizations.
Additionally, the Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Managing project activities involving remote Business Operations.
- Collaboration with supporting organizations: Office of General Counsel, Procurement, Controlling, IT, Accounting, Vendor and Supplier management, Contract Management, Coordination of plans, and related project activities.
- Conflict resolution, presentation development, and effective communication at all levels.
- Working proficiency with MS Tools: PowerPoint, Word, MS Project, mail, and scheduling tools.
- Project planning and timeline management, especially in managing multi-million dollar supplier-related projects.
Additional Skills:
- Minimum 8 Years of Experience Required
- PMP Certification Required
- Experience in SAFE Agile methodology
- Proven expertise in Large scale (enterprise) Project Management utilizing industry-recognized PM methods and tools, such as the PMBOK from the PMI.
- Proven Skills in Team and personnel leadership, leading teams of PM and Management professionals on large-scale, enterprise-wide projects.
- Experience in managing large-scale, highly complex, long-term projects recently.
- Proficiency in Project Management methodology based on the PMBOK 9 knowledge areas.
- Familiarity with MS Tools: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project, as well as Project Management tool - Clarity.
- Cost estimation techniques and business case preparation.
- Financial services/captive auto finance industry experience.
- Strong understanding of System Development LifeCycle (SDLC) & IT application development process.
