Project Manager

Gillmann Services, Inc is now hiring a Structural Project Manager for new commercial construction projects in Cincinnati, OH. This role requires experience in structural erection and planning. You will be managing a steel structural project, must be qualified in this regard.

This position is paying $80k-$100k annually contingent on project background and experience.

You will be in the office and in the field. Paid weekly, with benefits and mileage reimbursement.

Role Requirements:

• Structural erection experience, steel and iron work preferred
• 5+ years of Project Management experience minimum
• Job site team management, time management, leadership experience, project planning
• Strong construction background, hands-on experience appreciated

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participate in project turnover meetings with estimating and project management
• Review safety requirements and assist in developing a safety plan
• Mobilize equipment and materials to the site, including temporary utilities as needed
• Coordinate layout for the project including necessary elevations, baselines, bench marks, building points, etc.
• Establish manpower requirements, forecast upcoming activities, and coordinate execution of the work
• Coordinate subcontractors, materials suppliers, and equipment to support the schedule
• Establish project timeline with specific dates and goals and accept responsibility for projects timely completion, including but not limited to monitoring and adjustments of key performance metrics and related indicators
• Ensure construction plans are being met and blueprints adhere to drawings and specifications, including management of standards for quality control
• Conduct weekly meetings to include safety and schedule review, update and forecasting
• Coordination with the customer to meet project goals and achieve customer satisfaction
• Support project management and estimating with input on schedule, means and methods, and labor requirements
• Complete punch list, project closeout, and demobilization
