Position Type: Hourly contract Position (W2 only)
NOTE: The position will start with being onsite for training and then move to more of a hybrid role. Client is only onsite two days a week and remote the other three.
Responsibilities:
- To provide project management leadership/support to the Global SCM projects in order to meet its goals/objectives in delivering an End 2 End Supply Chain Solution/on other potential business outcomes. The Role is to take ownership of and manage projects through to fruition whilst delivering results through key stakeholders.
- Coordinate internal Supply Chain (SC)/other business function areas resources and business-side engaged third parties/vendors for the flawless project execution.
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress with relevant personnel/teams/organizations/3rd parties.
- Manage overall project budget, time and resource allocations.
- Staff/ allocate required resources according to project scope.
- Track timely provision of business process design and requirements.
- Manage global/region inter-connection/ tracking of activities with a global project team and assignment of tasks to whoever appropriate/relevant.
- Coordinate user testing, key user training, communication and regional hyper care on business side.
- Approve/ sign off user acceptance test results, point of no returns, hyper care phases together.
- Oversee and orchestrate day-by-day project execution activities and relevant milestones, deliverables, and outcomes on business side.
- Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term SC goals for benefit harvesting.
- Identify risks and manage mitigation strategies in regard to the implementation project and hold ownership of regular updates on risks/ their quantification/ qualification together.
- Continuously improve day by day project execution with best practices and recommendations.
- Ensure cost, effort and delivery transparency for all stakeholders/senior management.
- Manage changes to the overall project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Support with identifying inter-program/ project dependencies.
- Provide regular and comprehensive project updates to the project sponsors/Work Stream Leaders.
- Engage in escalation and decision processes for work-stream meetings and steering boards.
- Plan/execute hand over to business operations after project closure.
- Liaison and relationship management with key internal and external stakeholders, project sponsors and decision makers.
Qualifications:
Skills required:
- Working experience in project management on global scale.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Negotiation skills on stakeholder level.
- Experience in global digital transformation projects/ rollout projects is a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus
