The Center for EcoTechnology is hiring a key member of the PMO team to lead a portfolio of CET programs comprised of contracts with multiple clients. The Project Manager I ensures that short- and long-term goals are achieved and budgets are met. The Project Manager I is responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to ensure CET’s competitive advantage, deliver unique value to our clients and customers, and drive production efficiencies. The Project Manager I collaborates across CET’s matrix structure to tap the resources required for each program. This is a fully remote position.
The need to tackle climate change and rapidly decarbonize our economy makes our work more urgent than ever! Projects will be in the area of energy efficiency and the ideal candidate brings with them experience in this area.

Primary Function:
- Oversees the implementation of assigned programs.
- Serves as the client representative for some programs, keeping the client informed and engaged as appropriate.
- Communicates personnel and other resource needs to appropriate parts of the organization for successful program delivery.
- Monitors progress against contract deliverables, program goals, key performance indicators, and budgets. Develops client reports.
- Adjusts tactics to respond to changes in program requirements, personnel or methods.
- Analyzes data and makes recommendations for improvements.
- Contributes to development of departmental budget and operational strategies.
- Monitors marketplace dynamics, including competitive and complementary programming, evolving policy landscapes, and changing customer and client needs.
- Represents CET at planning and program meetings with customers, clients, and other partners.

Requirements
To qualify, you must have a minimum of 3 years proven project management success, preferably working within a matrix structure; or professional project management training with less on-the-job experience. Energy efficiency experience is required, with a strong interest in CET's mission. Bachelors of science or equivalent experience.
You should have strong interpersonal skills including written, phone, email and verbal. Must be able to set clear goals and create a team environment. Must be able to problem-solve and respond proactively to programmatic and personnel changes with the ability to iterate and adapt quickly. Lead through example to inspire others. Work style should be self-directed, flexible, creative, detail-oriented, and organized. Strong computer skills in MS Office and CRM software required, Salesforce experience preferred. This is a remote position located in the Northeast, with occasional travel to Massachusetts. Remote employees must have high speed internet access and a working location free from distractions and interference during business hours.
