Project Manager

Role: Project Manager

Location: Olean, NY

The Project Manager will lead complex global projects (abilities up to B-category) throughout the project life cycle; which includes agreeing targets and work packages with project staff and delegate defined work packages, provide technical solution, integration of all systems, execution of site activities, managing acceptance tests and final project handover.

· Project Manager in an engineering environment like production, manufacturing, or project execution

· Experience with Gantt charts and Scheduling & SAP. An interest and proficiency in project execution and a curiosity about providing leadership within a collaborative engineering team.

· Possess and demonstrates a high degree of tact and integrity; capable of communicating with Management, Peers, Shop Personnel, and Clients

· Broad technical background, high attention to detail, and excellent written and oral communication skills

· Good digital literacy and experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power-Point) and basic 2D/3D CAD .

· Travel is variable and as needed but estimated in the range of 10-20% per year.

· The Project Manager is responsible for project planning and oversight of planned activities from beginning to end.

· They balance budgets, keep track of work in progress, collaborate with suppliers, handle risks, and ensure projects are completed per schedule.

· The individual will work with engineering, drafting, supply chain management, manufacturing, quality, and shipping to ensure the overall scope of supply per the quotation proposals is achieved.

· The individual will run large multi-faceted projects and multiple projects at the same time.

· Run the order entry and transition process for assigned projects.

· Review order-entry packages and facilitate the receipt of all required information.

· Drive adherence to the Order Entry Process

· Initiate the project through required formalities and internal/external kickoff meetings.

· Take full ownership of the scope, budget, and schedule for assigned projects, and lead those constraints after the order award.

· Fully understand the provisions of the contract for the project, regularly informing functional representatives of salient provisions, and ensuring organizational compliance with all requirements

· Develop project plans as vital to successfully complete the project.

· Monitor and maintain the master project schedule including identification of the critical path and near critical path items to maintain delivery and cost objectives.

· Effectively report the progress and status of the project to management and the client

· Adequately document all subsequent (addendum) contractual agreements, both technical and commercial, and manage project scope via Contract Change Authorizations

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $46.00 - $50.00 per hour
