Vocational Rehabilitation Specialists Inc. (VRSI) has a full-time Project Manager position available in our Hudson office.
Vocational Rehabilitation Specialists, Inc. (VRSI) is a company that provides the Department of Labor's Homeless Veteran Reintegration Program (HVRP) grant to qualified Military Veterans. We have 11 office locations in California, Wisconsin, Florida, Nebraska, and Iowa. The purpose of VRSI is to provide free courteous, quality, and professional services designed to assist eligible veterans, service members, and other individuals to attain their maximum vocational potential. VRSI provides multiple services including vocational counseling, vocational evaluation, and employment services.
The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day delivery of reintegration services for Veterans who are at risk of losing housing. They will work closely with Regional Leads, Leads and Employment Specialists to ensure the service reflects the veterans needs, abilities, and employment goals. They will assist Regional Leads, Leads and Employment Specialists to coach, support, and monitor Veterans in the initial stages of employment and maintain relations with employers. The Project Manager will oversee the area of operations of the HVRP grant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Case Management
- Source Job Openings
- Securing Employment for Clients
- Case Note Writing
- Resume Writing
- File and Records Management
- Community Outreach with service providers and employers
- Building and maintaining relationships with employers and resources
- Coach and Prepare Candidates for Interviews
- Individual Employment Planning
- Manage social media accounts
- Supervise office staff
- Other duties and responsibilities as needed by Program Managers
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Counseling, Vocational Rehabilitation, or related field.
- Minimum of one (3) year of related experience in leadership, job development, recruiting, or counseling.
- Must work independently and as a team member.
- Use of personal vehicle for outreach with mileage reimbursement.
- Excellent writing, counseling, and communication skills.
- Business skills to conduct job searches.
- Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Work Schedule:
- Monday Friday (0800-1630 or 0830-1700)
Hourly Rate:
- $25.00-35.00 based on experience
