The Program Manager will conduct training sessions/workshops with unit leaders and frontline nurses. Some topics in the training content will include:
- Establish standard work for daily management of nursing care on each hospital unit
- Integration of care delivery model in to daily nursing practice
- Demonstrate how nursing practice effects patient safety and care outcomes

- effective ways to address problems, case scenarios
Brief overview
- Demonstrates effective communication with frontline nursing staff, unit/dept. nurse leaders, and nursing directors. Provides training and coaching to team members and supervisors by communicating and guiding toward achieving department objectives.
- Develops, communicates, and builds consensus for goals in alignment with the health system.
- Develops, plans, implements and evaluates Patient Care Experience programs, initiatives and other related services; develops and implements standard work for patient care delivery throughout the hospital.
- Engages staff and implements practices to improve communication, efficiency and patient/family centered experience. Prepares, leads and educates patient experience-based education and performance improvement.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's required;
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- 6+years of experience, healthcare experience needed Cornerstone LMS and PeopleSoft
- Knowledge of industry trends related to the patient experience
- Knowledge of the patient, family and caregiver path through the health system and how to identify key pain points
- Knowledge and experience in facilitating multi-disciplinary teams to determine solutions to recurring challenges
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive verbal and written information
- Ability to analyze operational and procedural problems and develop, recommend and evaluate proposed solutions
- Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels and in situations requiring instructing, persuading, negotiating, conflict resolution, consulting and advising as well as prepare clear, comprehensive written and oral reports and materials
- Able to prioritize and drive to results with a high emphasis on quality
- Ability to work as part of a team
