Objective
As a Project Lead on our TELUS AI team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of on-site operations in one of our AI projects. The role requires class-leading operations engagement involving strong verbal communication skills, ability to empathize with and respond to the customers and team-members needs, problem-solving skills and the ability to function effectively in a fast-moving, rapidly changing environment. Collaboration with multi-location and cross-functional team members will be key to maintain and improve customer satisfaction and employee engagement.
Primary Responsibilities
Recognize customer needs and proactively focus on fulfilling these needs through innovative thinking and collaboration with internal technical, production, scheduling, and management teams.
Manage, support and facilitate a smooth daily schedule for an onsite team of 3.
Be the onsite point of contact for internal and external parties, including onsite customer teams, remote internal management team, and the facility hosts as needed for overall maintenance and operations of the site.
Optimization through automation – provide innovative solutions to improve processes
Manage the production capacity of the site, based on project requirements and available TELUS International resources.
Minimum Qualifications:
3 – 5 years of experience as a retail manager, food service manager, hospital Manager, or similar environment/domain preferred.
2 - 3 years experience in managing small teams.
Experience working in Data Collection or technical projects is a plus.
Experience working with external vendors.
Technical proficiency with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office suite.

Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail.
Experience conducting in-person research sessions.
