You will be part of the Bombardier Aviation team where it all starts for Bombardier to take full advantage of its investments and the tremendous growth potential of its new Aftermarket products. The organization is responsible for sustainment of the Learjet fleet and provides new product solutions for Learjet, Challenger, and Global platforms for a network of Bombardier sites around the world. Our new engineering design solutions continue to provide excellent customer experience.
In your role, you will:
Liaise with customer facing organizations to create a network of interested Operators to secure aircraft to certify STC for aircraft modifications
Work with Aftermarket Engineering, Methods, Programs and Sales support to understand sales considerations for systems to ensure consistency when talking to Operators
Review marketing materials to ensure technical consistency with Engineering certification project scope
Create training package material to support entry into service technical functions for new products
Primary interface with the customer during aircraft downtime
Provide regular aircraft status updates to customer
Point of contact for customer quote & approval of discrepancies found during inspections
Manage customer invoice activity
Provide the customer with regular updates of aircraft status
Support Integrated Program Development Team Leader with governance and coordination of activities surrounding aircraft downtime
Lead and facilitate meetings and discussions to coordinate activities, develop plans, and resolve issues
Be an effective communicator while working with various employees, customers and management
Demonstrate perseverance and the drive to follow tasks and actions through to completion
Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements and become familiar with Bombardier processes.
Potential to grow role to include the primary customer interface, quote & approval, invoice & billing
As our ideal candidate,
You have at least 6 years of relevant experience in an aircraft environment
You have a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in an aircraft technical field
You have experience working in a customer facing organization
You have experience working in aircraft operations environment
You have working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite
You are motivated and able to drive teams to meet schedule and budget commitments
You have strong organizational and time management skills to support multiple tasks
You have strong communication skills to ensure clear, consistent, and timely information sharing within the team and across functional areas
You are able to explain complex aircraft modifications in a concise yet clear way to convey the value that brings to Customers
You have previous experience with Bombardier products and/or working with Bombardier customers
