What You'll Do:
Coordinate Engineering Services
• Work with other team members on a variety of construction projects for the crushed stone aggregate industry
• Serve as the liaison between project contractors, internal construction resources, and plant operations personnel
• Communicate and collaborate with a variety of disciplines during the course of implementing your projects
Manage Projects
• Perform project and construction management with an emphasis on being available to travel to sites, as required, across the division to assist with recommendations and review of work in progress/completed work to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Develop project scope and cost estimates, equipment specifications, and schedules
• Manage key project elements including all correspondence with contractors and project schedule and project spend forecasts
• Review project plans and specifications and assure they are implemented properly
Provide Design Services
• Develop structural/mechanical general arrangement drawings, including steel and concrete requirements
• Prepare project plans, primarily with respect to site layouts and process flow diagrams
• Provide or source all required design services required to meet project demands
• Provide first-line technical support for projects and related processing equipment
Additional Responsibilities
• Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operations
• Inspect plant systems to ensure they are safe for operating personnel and operating properly/efficiently
• Recommend and develop division-wide design standards, construction standards, and equipment standards

Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil/mechanical engineering, or a material science or construction-related discipline from an accredited college or university
• A minimum of 1-5 years of Project Engineer/Manager experience desired
• Competency with AutoCAD is essential, experience with AutoCAD civil design packages is a plus
• Experience in construction aggregates or similar heavy industrial settings is desired
• Experience with mine processing equipment, pumping equipment, and fundamental electrical knowledge is desired.
• Experience with the Microsoft or Google suite (Excel/sheets, Word/docs) is also essential
• Communications skills. Must have strong written and oral communications skills. Must be organized and capable of servicing multiple projects concurrently.
