Project Engineer

J.H. Fitzmaurice is looking for a Project Engineer who has some experience as the Project Engineer in the construction of multi-family apartment projects in the $40 to $150 million dollar range. A candidate for this position must have at least 5 years of experience in the related areas of construction, must be able to create and update project schedules and must have very good leadership/communication skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist PM with all project costs including monthly pay-application meetings.
• Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships with clients, Construction Managers, project team, consultants/architect/engineers, subcontractors, adjacent community, trade unions, and governmental agencies.
• Responsible for the project set-up, job site logistics, field coordination, and project schedule.
• Review all project documents for constructability and content, including shop drawings.
• Maintain and update project records including RFI’s, ASI’s and as-builts.
• Coordinate & facilitate all project documentation & email management.

Technical skills: Blubeam, PlanGrid, Microsoft Project, MS Office Suite.
