Job Summary
Project Engineer will be the primary technical point contact with PDA leadership and program manager on specific projects/programs. Project Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of a program’s planning, monitoring, and execution by the PDA engineering organization and will act as overall development champion

Responsibilities
- Maintains timely and effective communications with leadership team, functional leaders, teammates, and customer while coordinating with program manager
- Partners with the project and functional leaders for overall execution and delivery, to address development needs, resource plans, and quality performance objectives
- Provides overall project leadership of cross functional engineering team
- Responsible for engineering program risk management plan and actions along with development strategy
- Responsible for overall engineer planning, forecasting, reporting, issue resolution, baseline changes, transition to production, production support, and delivery (or launch and market execution)
- Liaison with department leaders to discuss and give input on projected related objectives and performance of project personnel
- Aid in bringing in new business such as SBIRs, STTRs, and BAAs as well as identifying other areas of growth.
Education/Experience
- B.A. or B.S. in applicable engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems, etc.)
- 8+ years of industry related experience required
- 5+ years leadership experience
